The Henley Coach House is a stunning property in a great location, very close to the River Thames in the heart of the old town of Henley. It is extremely versatile, capable of sleeping up to 8 people comfortably in 3 separate areas, it's a perfect choice for a group of couples, larger families or groups of business travellers.

This very special and unique converted coach house provides a wonderful base from which to explore historical Henley-on-Thames and the local area or is somewhere really lovely to stay whilst you work in the locality. The whole property comprises of 3 self contained apartments / suites which can also be booked individually. As a whole it can sleep 8 people comfortably. Each apartment has its own separate entrance if booked individually.

The three areas to this house work as follows:-

The Chiltern is on the ground floor and has one bedroom, a lounge with woodburner and French doors onto a sunny patio, lovely dining area with tea/coffee/toast-making facilities. The bedroom can be configured either as a double or a twin room. A very high quality Duresta sofabed with memory foam topper in the lounge provides a very comfortable sleeping option for another 2 people and can be screened off for privacy. There is a separate wet room, finished to an extremely high standard just like the rest of this stunning property. This apartment has its own private access from the rest of the accommodation. It also lends itself to people with limited mobility as the doorways are wide enough for wheelchair access.

Upstairs takes you to The Thames which is another beautifully decorated, light and airy double or twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. Adjacent there is a large open-plan kitchenette and dining area set up with halogen hob, combi oven and microwave. The kitchenette is well equipped with eveything you would need. Next door is a comfortable lounge area with sofabed and flat screen TV. Further along is another lovely shower room.

Along the corridor you will find The Lodden, a luxurious bedroom with double bed and Tempur mattress, again with en-suite shower room. This bedroom has tea & coffee making facilities only unless booked with the The Thames to give access to the kitchenette along the hallway.

The three areas flow beautifully as one property but give guests space and privacy if required, yet the faciliites to come together when it suits. Please note however that events or parties are not an option in this house and there is a  strict non-smoking policy.

All 3 bedrooms have wall hung flat screen TV's with Freeview and there is free WiFi provided throughout the property. This is newly presented accommodation and is finished to an incredibly high standard with exquisite taste throughout. This property is not suitable for children under 10 years of age and not ideal for pets although a single dog may be allowed subject to separate agreement only - the owner, who resides next door, has her own well behaved, friendly pet dogs so compatability in the outside patio areas need to be considered.

The property has two allocated parking spaces to the rear and is located a very short walk away from the river frontage of The Thames so is in the heart of the old town of Henley. It is a fabulous place to stay for the world-famous Henley Royal Regatta, the Summer Festival, Food Festival and Rewind, the annual 80's music festival. Outside of these events, there is still much to see and do in and around Henley. There are many lovely boutique shops, antiques centres, galleries, cafes and restaurants all a stone's throw from the property together with supermarkets and other amenities very near by. Henley is located at the meeting point of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire so close by are many areas of outstanding natural beauty including the Chiltern hills for stunning walks, National Trust properties and other places of interest. Many wonderful English villages and market towns with lots of unique history and interest are to be found all around Henley.

Oxford and Reading are both about a half hour drive away in opposite directions and there is easy access to the M4 to take you to Windsor (16 miles) and London (35 miles) or along the M4 corridor to Swindon, Bristol and Bath. The nearest airport is Heathrow, approximately a 45 minute drive.
